Evangelist Melissa A. Johnson
Melissa Johnson is an ordained Evangelist whose ministry spans from the local Washington, DC metropolitan area to East Africa. A powerful preacher and teacher, as well as a dedicated intercessory pray-er, Evangelist Melissa is also a gifted motivator and exhorter. These gifts are matched by an unquestionable and demonstrated compassion for all people.
Professionally, Melissa is a passionate community advocate and civil servant with more than 20 years of federal experience working to ensure that the federal workforce is trained and educated on anti-discriminations laws, prohibited workplace practices, and inclusive. She currently works for NOAA Fisheries Office for EEO and Diversity as a Senior Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist and Diversity and Inclusion Officer. She is committed to ensuring that her office provides all staff excellent customer service to the furtherance of fairness, diversity and inclusion and where all staff are valued and all employees have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Melissa has a keen eye for solution driven strategies that produce successful outcomes. She has been recognized for creating a strong D&I metric that measures and tracks diversity and inclusion and supports sustainability. She is a certified EEO and D&I Specialist, she has received certifications as Ombudsman, Mediator, and MBTI Facilitator, and she is a certified John C. Maxwell trained team member. In 2014, Melissa launched Restoration Women’s Conferences (RWC) and in 2018 RWC birthed MJM Global, LLC whose mission is to reach, teach, and restore – reclaiming lives, communities and nations through hosting holistic and wellness events, workshops, and a dynamic mentoring model for women and youth called “Restoration Partners” (www.mjmglobal.org).
